My Sorrento Escape

So back in January my partner and I booked a holiday to Sorrento with Kuoni in Liverpool One and at the time it seemed a million miles away.  But as we all know time flies and at last my holiday was here and it was definitely worth the wait

We stayed in the Grand Hotel De La Ville for 5 beautiful nights on a half board basis and within seconds of being here we definitely did not regret Kuoni's choice on the hotel.  The location of the hotel was amazing as it was literally within a 2 minute walk from the town centre and the train station.  This definitely came in handy for our trips to the Isle of Capri, Almafi Coast, Pompeii and to Positano.  The food in the hotel was also perfect as I am an extremely fussy vegetarian and was worried as to whether they would cater for me, but they had a varied selection including different types of pasta, pizza and omelette.  Do you ever worry over silly things too?

Mount Vesuvius from our hotel ❤
 During our first evening we relaxed in the pool on the rooftop of the hotel and went for a walk around the town centre;
Abandoned Mill Sorrento
  I love the abandoned mill, can you see the stairs on the left of the picture that would of led the workers to the mill?

For our first evening in the hotel, we had a fabulous three course dinner.  The hotel requests formal wear for dinner so it was lucky I had taken my Lanvin heels, numerous Wolford Bodysuits and of course a vast array of tights.

I only took a few pairs of my Wolford Tights and instead opted for a more cheaper alternative of my bondage tights for my first dinner;
These tights were amazingly only £2.99 from TK Maxx.
I wore the above with the Maje Wrap Skirt, Wolford Jamaika Body and Lanvin Heels.

Hope you enjoy my pictures as I will be posting alot more soon of my trip to the Isle of Capri and Pompeii very shortly

Love

  2. Hi! Your blog is lovely. I've chosen this post to comment because I lived in Italy for a few months and Sorrento is one of my favourite places. I hope you enjoyed Capri and Pompeii. People don't like Naples, but I personally find it really interesting. Sometimes you need to look inside of the appearances to find something gorgeous.
    As always, we love Wolford and those are gorgeous.
    Have fun. We're glad we've found your blog!
    Cheers,

    1. Hi Marta,

      Thank you for the massive compliment ❤

      I can most definitely see why sorrento is one of your favourite places. Its is without a doubt one of the most beautiful places I have ever been to! And yes Pompeii and Capri was amazing. I found Pompeii so interesting, it was great just being there in the awe of Mount Vesuvius.

      And as for naples you're most probably right; next time I go back, I will definitely give it more of a chance ❤

      xx
