Things to do in Sorrento - Isle of Capri

So this is a post that I have been meaning to put on for ages, and I think now is the perfect timing!  (Seen as I've been sick lately...and I'm now taking antibiotics; which are also making me vomit!)  So I'm really sorry about the lack of updates lately

Lately I'm finding myself lusting over my pictures from Sorrento and missing the warmth of the sun and of course the people!  That is when I realised...why have I not put up my pictures from the Isle of Capri?! Prior to going to Sorrento, my partner and I had arranged a 'plan' and on them plans was the Almafi Coast, the Isle of Capri and of course the amazing Pompeii (you can see my blog post about it here)

We left our hotel just after 9am, so we could book our tickets on the Hydrofoil...as the allocated time slots sell out quick! (and ultimately as a result you may end up with only an hour or so there.)  For a return ticket it cost around €75.00 for the both of us.  One thing though, if you're wanting a seat above the deck, so that you have an open view...be prepared to fight for it!  (Seriously is the United Kingdom the only place where people believe in queuing!?)  Personally I didn't care as I'm naturally fair and I much prefer to lurk in the shadows

The boat only took around 20 minutes to reach Capri, the views where absolutely breath-taking upon the approach to the Island.

Upon arrival the queues for a taxi, train and bus to get to the centre of Capri were astronomically, so in my wise wisdom...I decided to walk!  It took us around 20 minutes to walk to the Centre of Capri from the Port, which being honest wasn't too bad.  Although the ascent is tough; the views most definitely keep you going!

The shops are amazing in Capri.  It is an island just full of luxury designers ranging from Hermes, Dior, Valentino, Louis Vuitton etc.  You can also get very own artisan-made perfume and sandals hand stitched within an hour!

I also got the most cutest phone case from Moschino, from my partner while I was there too!  Six months on; I'm still using this case and always get asked as to where it is from! (Which is always amusing when I state the Isle of Capri ❤)

I loved the Isle of Capri, it is so beautiful and literally has the best of both worlds...perfect views and amazing shops!  I know people always say not to go back to the same place, but I cant help but feel a connection to Sorrento and hope to go back very soon!

I also have some pictures from the Almafi coast, if you would be interested in seeing them...just let me know and I'll do a quick blog post with them in!

Hope you have enjoyed my pictures and *fingers crossed* I get better soon as I have so many tights that need reviewing and I have recently purchased a gorgeous pair of YSL Tribute heels...which NEED to be shown off to you all!
